Commitment Ceremonies
Spike loves performing commitment ceremonies for gay and lesbian couples. In fact, it bums her out when folks write to ask if she is "willing" to officiate over such ceremonies—a question that apparently arises from the sad fact that some officiants refuse these requests. Spike is more than willing, she is absolutely delighted to oversee the union of any two people who love each other and wish to commit to a life together. She looks forward to the day when gay marriage is legalized, as it should have been ages ago.

Thank you so much for officiating our ceremony. It was just wonderful and you just made everything even more wonderful. All of our guests kept saying such great things about our ceremony and how it was so personal. We both kept saying that you helped with all of it and really listened and made it ours. So, thank you a million times over for everything!
